Masters has taught me so many things that i would not have been able to learn anywhere else. My whole life I’ve had to deal with severe social anxiety and in coming to masters that had to change. So God began to do things in me that I just couldn't explain. I’m glad to say that I’m no longer that anxious person I used to be.  Another thing Masters has taught me is how to serve others no matter what.  And the best of all is that I’ve been able to grow my relationship with the Lord.  Not only have I learned about Him through classes, but through deep personal interaction. You can only get that with time, and Masters has given me that opportunity. All I can say is that I'm eager to continually become the person He wants me to be!

In Master’s, I learned how to pray—for real. Praying before Master’s was not all that important to me and it usually was not my first step for solving my problems.  I know now that if I want my heart to truly change and have complete trust in God, I have to focus and be alert in my quiet times. Praying ever day has allowed me to step back, slow down my mind, and direct it towards God.  Colossians 4:2, “Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with an attitude of thanksgiving” has been a starting ground for me and a constant reminder that I need to constantly seek Him and go to Him for everything. I’ve learned how to serve people and put on love for others unconditionally so I can live a sacrificial life with joy.
